Pontoon Boat ride , Saturday September 26, 2026 12:30-2 pm
Come join The Friends of Ten Mile Creek and Little Seneca Reservoir
for a leisurely and educational cruise around the 505-acre Little Seneca Lake Reservoir.
We will be on the lookout for birds and other wildlife, as well as other natural features of the area.
We will learn about the importance of the Reservoir as the region’s closest back-up drinking water supply and the vital role of clean tributaries, like Ten Mile Creek and Little Seneca Creek
We will note the impacts on the Reservoir from our changing climate and ongoing development in the watershed.
The Pontoon Boat ride is FREE, but Donations are appreciated.
Time: 12:30 – 2:00 pm, Boat ride will begin at 1:00 and will be approximately 1 hour.
Please arrive by 12:30 for a brief orientation.Space is limited to 20 guests. So RSVP early at the contact info below. We will also have a waiting list in case folks cancel. We will notify you a week in advance if the Pontoon Boat ride is cancelled due to weather-related reasons.

Directions:
From I-270 take Exit 16.
Go north one mile toward Damascus. Then go left on MD355.
Go one mile and turn left on West Old Baltimore Road.
Go a mile and a half and turn left to enter the park on Lake Ridge Drive. Stay on Lake Ridge Drive one and a half miles to the Boat Rental Station.
FROM Clopper Road (Rt 117) in Boyds
Go north on Clarksburg Road (Rt 121) for 2.3 miles.
Then go right on West Old Baltimore Road at the roundabout circle.
Go one mile and turn right into park on Lake Ridge Drive.
Go one and a half miles on Lake Ridge to the Boat Rental Station.
