Montgomery County Executive Candidates’ Green Forum

Friends of Ten Mile Creek & Little Seneca Reservoir is one of the co-sponsors of a Green Forum for candidates for Montgomery County Executive to answer questions about their positions on environmental issues.

Kojo Nnamdi and Jenny Abamu will moderate the discussion. Please join us at this in-person event.

Trash Clean-up
Saturday March 21st 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Let’s clean up the road!
We will meet on West Old Baltimore Road at the Ten Mile Creek Ford at 11:00.
Best to park on the East side of the Creek where more parking is available.
We will provide garbage bags for collecting the trash. Jay Cinque has offered to load the trash collected into his truck and take it to the dump.

Annual Watershed-Wildflower Walk
Saturday April 18th, 10 am to 2 pm
Rain date - Sunday April 19th

We will meet at the Cinque Farm, 22300 Slidell Rd, at 10 am. Our plan is to explore the Ten Mile Creek Conservation Park along Ten Mile Creek. Following the hike, we will return to the Cinque Farm, where Jay & Anne Cinque will provide us light refreshments.Stay tuned & Save the Date. More information to follow.
